Save the Sea Turtle

May 1, 2018

Your convenience is their extinction.  At Kavako we are dedicated to helping saving these incredible animals. Our bags are made of biodegradable materials. A portion of our sales are being donated to help save the Sea Turtles. Join the movement and say NO to plastic straws and cups. If you’re not local to the Saint Pete area, bring the movement your city!

Hundreds of thousands of sea turtles, other marine mammals, and more than 1 million seabirds die each year from ocean pollution and ingestion of marine debris. Marine debris is manmade waste that is directly or indirectly disposed of in oceans, rivers, and other waterways. Our global market trade is driven by consumers, so make the conscious choice to go green. Human activities have tipped the scales against the survival of these ancient animals.  Almost all species of sea turtle are classified as Endangered. Slaughtered for their, meat, eggs and shells, sea turtles suffer from poaching and over-exploitation. They also face habitat destruction and capture in fishing gear. Climate change also has a major impact on turtle nesting sites.

If you’d like to donate check out the local organization http://www.savetheseaturtle.org/ or help support our company and pick up some Kavako kratom today.
